BANDIPORA 10 SEPTEMBER 2026
Bandipora: BJP leader and State Executive Member Naseer Ahmad Lone today visited Hajin and extended his support to National Health Mission (NHM) employees who are observing a 72-hour strike over their long-pending demands.
Lone interacted with the protesting employees, listened to their grievances and assured them of his support. He said he would try to take up their issues with Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma so that the matter could be raised with the higher authorities and the Central Government for appropriate consideration and resolution.
Speaking to the media, Lone said the genuine demands of NHM employees should be given due attention and addressed at the earliest.
He also strongly criticised the incumbent National Conference government in Jammu and Kashmir, urging it to listen to the concerns of NHM employees and take concrete steps to resolve their legitimate demands.
Lone said the employees serving under the NHM are playing an important role in the healthcare system and deserve fair consideration of their demands, including job security, regularisation and other service-related issues.
