GANDERBAL 10 SEPTEMBER 2026:-
As part of sustained efforts to ensure strict compliance with laws governing the sale and distribution of medicines, Ganderbal Police, in coordination with the Drug Control Department today conducted a large-scale inspection and checking drive of medical stores in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kheerbhawani.
The inspection was carried out jointly by police officers along with the Drug Inspector and his team. During the drive, several medical establishments were thoroughly inspected for adherence to prescribed norms, licensing conditions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
During the course of inspection, 04 medical shops were sealed on the spot for violations of various regulatory provisions, norms and SOPs as prescribed under the relevant laws.
Ganderbal Police reiterates its commitment to safeguard public health and ensuring that medical establishments operate strictly within the legal framework. Such joint inspection drives will continue in future to maintain transparency, accountability and adherence to statutory regulations.
